Alienware Curve Display
Jan 13, 2008 I Technology.

What we see in the picture is a monitor that supports resolutions of 2880 x 900 with rear DLP and lighting OLED, and has a time response of 2 milliseconds. Some have suggested that having to detail the monitor live (not in the picture above) can be seen lines of various union panels. In Alienware they say they will put it for sale during the second half of this year, and they didn’t reviled the price yet but it’s most likely that is not within reach of most consumers.

If only i had the money to buy this haha, crysis would ook awesome on this display.
Ive heard they have a problem with them at the moment, which is that you can see the line splits in the screen, but alienware say they should have that sorted out by the time they have released it for the public.
Knowing alienware’s reputation and prices, i can only imagine the price tag on this when it comes out for first release. Only the hardcore gamers would be getting this. I think ill wait a year or so for this prices to drop. Same thing thats happend with high def televisions. Wait a while they go down in price and come out with better and better specs, im glad i have waited to get a HD tv.
Well we will jsut have to see what happens.

@James Foxx: Yea totally agree, but dont exactally know why anyone would one a screen that size. I mean its practically a really widescreen CRT monitor.
Might be good for simulated games such as Microsoft Flight Simulator X, and possibly for racing games. Other than that don’t see much point/use of it.
